One of the best offshore cruising boats ever built. Sea Schell just finished a four year cruise of the entire US east coast and Bahamas and completed a circumnavigation of the Caribbean Sea. She's a well-equipped, comfortable cruising boat ready to go again and she's capable of tougher conditions than you are.

 

All Tayanas are made on a semi-custom basis with many variations based on the desires of the owners who ordered them. Sea Schell has about the best configuration available for comfortable cruising by two with good accommodations for guests.

Accommodations

The companionway leads you down to the saloon. To port is the nav station served by a swivel chair. The chair swings around to a small drop down table just forward of the nav station. Another swivel chair is across the table. Just forward of the chair is a large, deep locker with shelves. A door leads forward to the forward head and the VIP stateroom. Just aft of the forward head on the starboard side is an L-shaped settee around a drop leaf dining table. The settee pulls out to make a double berth. A separate cushion also makes it comfortable for two to sit with their feet up and read or watch TV. Just aft of the settee is the galley.

 

Aft of the nav station on the port side a full height passage with a door leads to the owner's stateroom. The owners berth is queen size and lies athwartships. To starboard is the owner's head and a full separate shower.

 

Forward of the saloon are the doors to the VIP stateroom and the forward head. The forward head has a door to the saloon and a private entry from the VIP stateroom. The shower in the forward head was removed by a previous owner but the water supply and the shower sump tank are still in place. The shower could be re-activated by installing a shower head and control and a pump for the sump.
