Overview

This Willard Vega Searcher 30 is a classic northwest design with all the basic accommodations for coastal cruising on a pocket cruiser scale. Flybridge has bench seating with upper helm to starboard. Aft cockpit offers al fresco dining. Interior salon settee with large table converts to twin bunks. Galley is fully equipped with sink, stove & oven, icebox, cabinets and counter work space. Raised pilothouse has fully functional lower helm to starboard with cushioned bench seat and nav station with large table to port. Forward v-berth cabin has ample cabinet storage. Walk Through Tour

Step onto side deck and proceed forward inside stanchions with single lifeline to bow with anchor windlass and foot control, and large cooler/dockbox. Proceed aft along port side deck to side step up to aft cabintop where spare anchor is stored and your dinghy can be stored. Move up step to flybridge with bimini and through opening between forward facing built-in bench seats to upper helm on starboard. Note portable Honda generator stored behind helm seat and propane tank stored behind mate bench seat. Proceed down from bridge to side deck and move aft to step down into cockpit. Observe built-in seating around fixed table for al fresco dining.

Enter interior through aft door and down 4 steps to salon and galley. Sit at comfortable settee with table and angled back rest. Note backrest lifts up and locks to convert to single bunk. Look aft into private head with marine toilet, vanity with sink and wand shower, and cabinet storage. Walk across aft cabin space to galley along port side. Notice ample counter space, deep ice box, stainless steel sink and 4 burner propane stove with oven.

Proceed forward and up 4 steps to raised pilothouse. Observe nav station with large chart table to port. Lower helm is to starboard with 180° view, long step, folding stool, and long cushioned seat. Lift rug to see large floor plate to ample engine compartment access.

Proceed forward and down 3 steps to v-berth cabin. Note cabinet storage under berth and hanging locker. Anchor locker is accessed at bow of cabin. 



Accommodations

This Willard has all the accommodations you expect in a vintage pocket cruiser. Interior has 6' 2" headroom in salon, head, galley and pilothouse, and 6' headroom in forward V-berth cabin. Salon settee seats 4-5 with slanted cushioned backrest and relatively large table for serving meals and entertaining. Settee converts to 2 single berths by  lifting back up to make single bunk above lower berth. Head has vanity, sink, wand shower and marine manual toilet.Galley is port side across from salon

Raised pilothouse is forward of salon and galley, and 4 steps up over engine room. Lower helm is to starboard and nav station with large folding table is to port. Helm seat can be either a folding stool seat or higher cushioned bench seat. Cabinet storage is alongside and under nav station. Portable airconditioning unit is under nav station and in-window airconditioning unit is above cushioned berth at lower helm - powered by shorepower at dock or portable generator while anchored or underway.

Forward v-berth cabin is down 3 steps from pilothouse. Storage is available in cabinets under v-berth and hanging locker. Anchor locker is at bow of cabin.
