Overview

Sea Shell is a 53' Defever Performance Offshore Cruiser. The Defever 53 POC was designed by Arthur DeFever and built by Sen Koh Shipbuilding and have proven to be very popular offshore trawlers. The design is a flush deck, pilothouse forward, flybridge overhead design with a "U" galley and large welcoming salon. Below are three comfortable cabins, three heads and a full height walk-in engine room. She is powered by two Caterpillar 3208TAs, (3600 hours each). Generator power is supplied by two Cummins Onan enclosed generators, (12 kw, 700 hours and a NEW, Dec 2013) 9 kw, 10 hours). NEW DEC, 2013, HER TOPSIDES & COMPLETE EXTERIOR WERE COMPLETELY AWLGRIPPED, (3 COATS PRIMER, 3 COATS AWLGRIP, (HIGH GLOSS WHITE, (beige on the non-skid areas). THE BOTTOM WAS PEELED, FAIRED, BARRIER COATED & 2 COATS OF MICROM CSC APPLIED.
