This is an excellent late model example of the flagship of the Grand Banks line of "Classic" trawlers. Traditional design, spacious accomodations and sea keeping ability are three of the reasons the GB 49 continues to be a popular choice for experienced cruisers world wide. A long list of high end equipment includes Wesmar Stabilizers, 435 h.p. Caterpillar diesels, 15kw generator, 400 GPD Watermaker, Reverse Cycle Air Conditioning, Cold Plate Refrigeration, Washer & Dryer, State of the Art Electronics and 10' Apex RIB Dingy with 25 h.p. outboard motor. All the interior spaces are very spacious including the walk-in utility room and engine room. There are three staterooms and two full heads with showers. The forward stateroom has an ensuite water closet. The saloon features a large L-Settee, drop leaf yacht table, full galley and helm station with bench helm seat. The high horsepower 3208 Cat diesels provide an amazing top speed of 18+ knots and a very wide cruising speed range. Her current owners and two previous owners cruised the boat extensively and have provided good  maintenance. She has recently been hauled, bottom painted & launched for the Summer cruising season and is currently berthed in Vero Beach, Florida. This is solid stabilized Grand Banks with capability of near 20 knot top speed.  1,000 Gallon fuel capacity provides excellent range at hull speed cruising.

The interior arrangement is the typical galley up layout which provides for three staterooms and two full heads with showers. The forward V-berth cabin is spacious and has a hanging locker, six under berth storage drawers, large v-berths with storage beneath and a hidden marine head. There is a deck hatch and two opening ports for natural lighting and ventilation. The second forward cabin is starboard side aft of the forward cabin. This cozy cabin has seperate twin berths with storage drawers, a hanging locker and opening ports. The head with seperate shower enclosure is portside opposite the guest cabin. This head has an opening port, marble sink and Vacu-Flush marine head. The engine room and utility room access is via the hinged companionway steps. The utility room has a work bench, wash basin and seperate washer and dryer units. A sliding hatch and hinged teak louvered door seperates the the forward companionway from the saloon/galley.

The volumous saloon has the galley portside, full helm station with fixed seat on the starboard side and the L-settee and yacht table aft and starboard. The galley has two cold plate refrigerators and one freezer. There is ample dish storage, drawers and cabinets. A second engine room access is via hinged hatch in the sole and a removable aluminum ladder. The saloon has two entry doors and large opening windows on three sides and three large windshield panels. A bar with bottle and glass storage and an icemaker adjoins the settee.

The aft cabin is reached from the aft companionway in the saloon via two hinged teak doors and stairway. The aft cabin features an island queen bed, huge hanging locker, a desk/dressing table, several large drawers and a stow away ladder for the aft companionway. There are opening ports port and starboard and the aft companionway has teak doors, hinged hatch, screens and a sunbrella dodger.

The ensuite head has a tub with shower, mirrored vanity with marble basin and a Vacu-Flush marine head. There is an opening port to starboard.

All areas in the interior spaces have beautiful teak parquet soles with framed and fitted hatches with bronze pulls. All the interior joinery is typically Grand Banks quality finished in numerous coats of satin varnish. Neutral soft goods and ultra sued upholstery provides a simple yet warm and rich decor.Galley
