Oceania 1 - Beneteau 411, a beautiful 3 cabin family cruiser

The Beneteau 411 was designed by Groupe Finot, Naval Architects. She is a welcome marriage of thoughtful design, quality construction, comfortable accommodations and spirited performance. She has an overall length of forty one feet eight inches, a beam of thirteen feet and a displacement of 17,196 lbs. Her hull, cabin and deck are constructed as hand laid fiberglass mat and Vinyl Ester resin finished with gleaming white gelcoat. Her decks and cabin feature a molded in nonskid pattern for sure footing everywhere from bow to stern. The raised cabin has numerous (15) opening ports (8) and hatches (7) for excellent light and ventilation below. The aft cockpit is generous, providing seating for 6-7 persons, a center line table and helm station. A convenient step through transom provides easy access to the wide stern swim platform.

Overview: Oceania 1 is the proven and easily handled sloop design with an ICW friendly mast height of 58 ft 6 in and a shallow draft, fin and bulb, keel of 4 ft 9 in. The standing rigging is new it was replaced in October of 2016. She is powered by a reliable 40 HP Westerbeke diesel. Her Doyle mainsail and head sails both offer convenient roller furling for secure and easy stowage and precise reefing. The roller furling mainsail is 308 sq ft when fully deployed and the standard roller furling genoa is 389 sq ft when fully deployed. In addition she has a smaller 100% jib and a full size multi-color cruising spinnaker in a sock for light air sailing.
