Overview

Entelechy was first commissioned in 2017, although issued her hull number in September of 2015, which makes her a 2016 model. She is a true dreamboat for the buyer looking for a near-new Lagoon 52 at a fraction of the price of a new one, and a catamaran that has been fully debugged by her fastidious Swiss owner.

Entelechy has the most sought after cabin layout you can find on the Lagoon 52 - The four cabin version with the larger owner cabin on the aft starboard quarter. The best of both worlds: massive owner quarters, yet three additional en-suite double cabins. This makes her ideal for owner use, but also excellently suited for family sailing or charter operations.

As anyone who has every priced out a new Lagoon knows, there is the base price and the fully equipped price. Far too many consumers fail to add up all of the very costly extras that differentiate Lagoons on the brokerage market. Entelechy has it all - Hydraulic Tender-lift, Carbon Canoe Boom, Bow Thruster, Generator, Air Conditioning, 75 Gallon an Hour Watermaker, Upgraded console 390 Hyfield Tender with 40 HP Honda outboard, Hydranet fathead mainsail and jib, gennaker, folding props, dishwasher and on and on. And to top all that - how about just a bit over 700 hours on her Yanmars!

Entelechy's owners have ended their sabbatical and are preparing their kids for college. They love the cruising lifet-syle and encourage others to try it. She is a fully VAT paid yacht for European Buyers.

To organize a showing, please contact us. She is mainly sailing and cruising in the Northern Part of the Caribbean right now.

Manufacturer Description

The Lagoon 52, developed by the world's leading builder of cruising catamarans, marks a whole new era in the design of such boats, as indeed did its predecessor, the famed Lagoon 500.

With its diamond-shaped vertical bows, bevelled hulls, its as if levitated deckhouse and tall rig, the Lagoon 52 is no ordinary catamaran, but its originality goes a great deal further than just its "outer" appearance, or even its interior layout.

This Lagoon 52 is the result of lengthy discussions between the architects at Van Peteghem-Lauriot Prévost (VPLP), the Italian Nauta Design agency and the Lagoon design department. These discussions led us to make some important and sometimes radical choices, while remaining faithful to what we believe in, in terms of elegance, comfort, safety, user friendliness and, it goes without saying, performance under sail.
