This beautiful Tayana Vancouver 42 in the rare center cockpit model is one of the best boats ever built for long distance cruising. It's a newer model, never had teak decks and has the most desirable interior configuration available. The current owner bought it 5 years ago, equipped it with all the stuff needed for extended cruising and took off to sail the Caribbean. Since then he's done a great job of maintaining it and now it's ready to go again. Just this month he completed a few more touches.

AccommodationsEntering the saloon from the companionway the galley is immediately to starboard. Forward of the galley to starboard is an L-shaped settee. Opposite, to port is a straight settee. Between is a teak table with storage in the middle on either side of the compression post and leaves that stretch out to both settees to serve 6 for dinner. Aft of the port settee, next to the companionway is a proper, forward-facing nav station with chart drawer and table.
Aft of the nav station a full standing height companionway leads aft to the owner's stateroom. The large owner's berth lies athwartships across the whole stern. To starboard, just forward of the owner's berth, are lockers and the owner's private head with separate shower.
Forward of the saloon settee to starboard is a second head with doors opening to the saloon and the vee berth. The vee berth is the guest stateroom with doors opening to the saloon and forward head with shower.
