Overview

Wabajo II is a modern  pilothouse ketch, designed for pleasure.  She has deep, full keel, displacement hull with a spoon shaped bow, and canoe stern.  The cockpit is located mid-aft, with a low trunk cabin extending forward to the foredeck, leaving small side decks for easy passage forward.  The masts are stepped through the cabintops onto the keel, below.  Accommodations are roomy and well arranged with an anchor chain locker in the forepeak, and stateroom with 'V' berth next aft.  Aft of that is a head to port and lockers to srarboard.  A foc'sle hatch with ladder is over the forward cabin passageway.  The galley is next aft to port and dinette to starboard.  Aft of that to port is a guest stateroom and enclosed head to starboard.  Aft of that is the raised salon with tankage below.  An aft stateroom with a large berth and separate head with shower is accessed through a passageway to starboard.  The wheel helm is mounted on the bulkhead in the pilothouse.  The pilothouse has a canvas aft closure and seating with table aft.  The wood masts are rigged with single spreaders, masthead headstay and split backstays.
