Descriptions

Layout

"Elusive" is a beautifully layout vessel for those who want to venture forth and do the loop and/or live the dream of having a home on the water.

The vessel dimensions are a perfect fit to accomplish the loop. Its estimated 13' height make clearing the bridges worry free. Its 41' length and 14'8" beam opens the possibility of always finding a slip and the electric windlass makes resting at anchor effortlessly.

The clean lines of the fore deck and solid life rails creates a safe pleasing environment. The hard-covered aft deck, with its wet bar, grill and table for four, with extra room for chairs provides a delightful place to relax, feast and entertain while enjoying the pleasures of your surroundings.

A few steps up from the aft deck is a spacious flybridge with a new soft bimini. The center helm station with a captain and mate chair, electronic suite that includes an autopilot and an unobstructed view makes captaining this vessel a real joy.

It's not a solitary cloistered flybridge. The port and the starboard sides have long lounges with plenty of storage underneath each one. On the port side the lounge leads into a corner settee providing a terrific place for family and friends to gather underway.

Next to the staircase, that provides the access to the flybridge from the aft cabin is the companionway door to the steps leading into the main salon.

Upon entering the warm, bright and inviting salon there are two swivel recliners with ottomans. Across the cabin is a "L" shape lounge that ends with a cabinet that has the flat screen television on it. This space can comfortably accommodate six people. The beautiful wood joinery and large windows makes for a place that people just want to be.

Heading toward the bow and down three steps resides the galley and breakfast nook. The galley with its two deep stainless-steel sinks, three burner electric stove, microwave and large refrigerator makes meal preparation stress- free.

The three-step staircase, once removed, grants access to the twin Volvo TAMD -621A engines: the port one has 2164 hours and the starboard has 2218; with the heat exchangers being replaced in December of 2019.

The 8.5 kW Westerbeke generator, with only 600 hours is in this area. The engines and generator all have ample room around them for servicing.

Heading towards the bow, out of the engine compartment, through the galley is a separate head. Pass that is the forward cabin with a bunk bed berth arrangement with a single berth on top and a double berth below. The beds are located along the portside. On the starboard side are a series of dresser draws; the forward cabin also has a hanging closet.

The 6' 4" aft stateroom, located a few steps down from the salon, offers a queen size center berth with room to walk around and four sets of drawers on each side. A unique feature that is rarely seen on a boat of this size is a full walk in closet. Adjoining the stateroom is an ensuite head with a separate full shower. Making this space a peaceful restful place to be.

Broker notes

This 1987 boat is in remarkable condition. The low hours on the mechanicals, the navigational instrumentation, the overall roominess and storage capacity makes this boat a great buy for anyone looking at long travel on a living aboard situation.
