Accommodations

Kallista has two staterooms; the forward cabin has a generous double berth to starboard with plenty of stowage, bulkhead reading lights, and a flat screen television.  There is a head forward of this cabin with separate stall shower, sink/vanity to port, and toilet to starboard.  The toilet is plumbed directly to the holding tank and is raw water electric flush.  

The other stateroom is located to starboard just aft of the first cabin.  There is a comfy settee, a writing desk, and bookcase/stowage shelves along the after bulkhead.  The forward bulkhead in this cabin folds down to a double bunk space.  Across the hallway is another head with separate stall shower.  The toilet is also plumbed directly to the holding tank and is fresh water electric flush.    

 

Tankage

Kallista has fiberglass fresh water tanks.  There are two tanks, one to port and one to starboard, 130 gal. capacity each. 

There is one holding tank of approximately 40 gals. constructed of polypropylene.  Both marine toilets feed directly to the holding tank.

There are three fuel tanks aboard.  A 350 gal. soft iron tank, original to the boat, is located on the port side.  This tank has been inspected and the interior of the bottom coated with an aircraft grade anti-corrosion finish to inhibit rusting.  The original starboard tank was removed and replaced with two 100 gal. aluminum tanks in 2017.  There is a fuel polishing and transfer system installed below decks to facilitate distribution and trim.
