Accommodations

Scallywag is hull #627 of Catalina 320 production.  It is a clean, sleek vessel with no outside wood to maintain.  The cockpit is exceptinally large with Port and starboard seating measuring 6' long by 16" wide.  The stern seat is a full 5'3" across with the center portion removable to provide access to the "sugar scoop" stern and lay-over boarding ladder. "Starboard" jump seats are at the port and starboard corners of the cockpit. There is a stern freshwater hot and cold shower and passengers are protected by the 9' long bimini that connects to the dodger and has 6'4" headroom under the bimini.  The side decks are a comfortable 18" wide leading to the anchor locker with concealed Maxwell 500 windlass with foot step switch and the stainless steel anchor chute.

Forecabin:

The 72" berth sleeps two adults and measures 70" across at the head.  At the foot of the berth is a 10" deep shelf. Two drawers are under the berth along with two storage lockers.  Overhead is an 18" X 20" Bomar hatch with screen and canvas cover. Separating the forecabin from the salon is a folding wood privacy door.

Salon:

Teak and holly sole runs throughout the vessel and all windows have drop down screens.  The opening ports also have screens. The starboard settee is 6'3" while the portside settee is "L" shaped and runs 6'9".  With the regular dinette table in place the starboard settee can convert to a double berth. There is also a 24" round maple table that can replace the regular table in order to save space. Above each berth is a small book storage area and additional storage is behind the back rests and under the seats. There is also a 9" wide storage shelf above each settee. There are three windows and four opening ports in the salon.  Above is a 17" X 17 " Bomar hatch with screen and canvas cover.  Just aft of the port settee is the navigator station that measures 25" wide by 32" long.

Galley:

The galley is located just aft of the nav station on the port side and extends on the aft side to the companionway steps.  It is a modified "U" shape with the forward portion extending on an angle to the salon walkway.

Head Compartment:

The head is directly aft of the dinette on the starboard side and has 6'2" headroom.

Aft Stateroom:

The aft stateroom is a mamouth living area starting just aft of the head compartment and extending under the entire cockpit. Entering the privacy door to the left at the back of the head compartment are two pull-out cabinets and a Louvered deep cedar lined hanging locker.  Next is a 23" wide "dressing" seat and then the athwartship 7'1" X 56" berth with headboard. On the forward side of the berth is a removable shell that provides access to the rear of the engine. At the far aft corner is a hatch providing access to the stern lazerette.
