Overview
This rare widebody 2010 57' McKinna offers the best of all worlds.
With a 17' beam, she offers full walk-around side decks and a spacious, updated interior.
The previous owner outfitted her for full self-sufficiency (water maker, dive compressor, wireless Yacht Controller) for a bucket list "off the grid" trip to the southern Caribbean. The current owners have kept her up to date with open checkbook TLC, and enjoy her twelve months a year on the Chesapeake Bay, ICW, Florida Keys, and Bahamas.
Her efficient Cummins QSM-11 power (660hp each) offers a range of cruising options, from a fuel-sipping 9 knots to an 18 knots-all-day gallop. Even at 18 knots, she is surprisingly efficient relative to her size and weight. Active fin stabilizers offer a comfortable ride at any speed and her hydraulic bow thruster and wireless Yacht Controller offer the ultimate confidence around the dock.

New neutral ultra-leather upholstery adorns the comfy wrap-around sofa and love seat in the salon, and a large dining table makes the generous pilothouse a social focal point both underway and at anchor. The large "super yacht" style glass partition doors opening up to the teak back deck are a work of art and make the whole main level of boat very bright and airy.
A full suite of Garmin electronics, including two 15" touchscreens at each helm, make navigation and monitoring the ship's systems a breeze. Simrad autopilot offers two-finger control of the vessel in all conditions.

The 57 Mckinna Pilothouse was first introduced in 1997 and has since delivered well over forty to anxiously awaiting yachtsmen. Its success is due in large to its broad appeal and excellent interior volume. The latest version of this classic yacht has incorporated an increased beam to 17' for additional volume and the ability to handle the additional engine room equipment that most modern yachtsmen require.
This three-cabin layout offers very spacious accommodations for you and your guests featuring a midship Master with Queen Berth and En Suite Head including a tub. The handsome VIP stateroom is forward. The bunk room converts to a day room through the clever use of a system that easily lowers the upper bunk to become the backrest of a settee. A full Galley adjacent to a very impressive salon. The Flybridge has ample seating and comfortable helm.

Accessed from the large aft deck area via stainless steel sliding doors, the handsome salon is open, bringing in plenty of natural light. Featuring a large comfortable sofa with a custom Hi-Lo coffee/dining table. Portside is the LG 42" TV that retracts into the counter. Full surround- sound with wireless iPad/iPhone control makes the salon a theater on the water. Fully carpeted and nicely accented with Hunter Douglas blinds, all illuminated with custom lighting for a sense of luxury to the salon. Elegant and practical in every way!
This very functional & user-friendly galley is located to Port forward in the salon and is fitted with high-quality polished granite counter tops; two Sub-Zero refrigerators; Kenyon three-burner electric cook-top; GE convection microwave oven in cherry cabinets; American Standard fixtures. It is a pleasure to prepare meals at sea or at anchor with this well-thought-out galley.
All new pots, pans, dishware, glasses, etc, coffeemaker, and counter appliances stay aboard.
This is where the action happens, and with the spacious dinette located in the pilothouse, you and your guests will be able to enjoy the views together as you log the miles and check off your list of favorite destinations to visit. The captain will enjoy a panoramic view of his or her surroundings for optimal visual navigation and safety. Accessed from a cockpit ladder aft or the pilothouse, a spacious bridge awaits you and up to 10-12 guests. A double helm layout forward is rigged with full electronics and a great view forward. To aft, a Brower 1500 lbs. Davit holds the 2015 AB RIB tender with new 25 HP Suzuki.
Selected to make sense and have the right mix of redundancy and function, the electronics package is done right on this boat.

PILOTHOUSE SYSTEMS:
The master stateroom is amidship, under the pilothouse, and is accessed from a starboard staircase from the pilothouse. Featuring an offset full walk-around modified Queen Berth. The master head has Marble counters and floor; full shower stall with tub and excellent lighting throughout. There are cedar-lined hanging lockers, deep drawers, and extra storage. The entertainment center has a plasma TV and stereo.
Recent additions are two safes in the Master.
The beautiful and generous VIP cabin is located in the bow and features an offset queen bed to port. Your guests will be thrilled with the ample cedar-lined storage lockers and drawers. Above the berth is a large escape hatch; great for bringing in the fresh air. Your guests will feel comfortable and secure in the McKinna 57. Access to the guest head is easy.
This guest stateroom is located off to the port side and features a clever folding wall that allows you to open the entire cabin converting it into a sitting room via the conversion of bunks to a sofa. This open wall system gives more space for cruising and another separate lounging space. The stacked washer and dryer are just beside this space.

New Bauer Junior II SCUBA Compressor
Entered aft through a large watertight hatch then down a ladder to the lazarette. The lazarette holds a 20kw Northern Lights generator in sound shield, spare part storage and additional dual Sub-Zero freezer drawers for added cold storage. Forward through a watertight doorway, you enter the spacious engine room that is laid out to impress the pickiest owner or crew. Access is well thought out with everything located where it makes sense and all Racors and switches right where you want them. You have ample room to work on motors and for daily service checks and maintenance.
Teak abounds in a deck entry from the wide extended swim platform with swim steps and entry into the aft cockpit area with ice maker and electric grill. Wide teak side decks give you full walk-around access to the bow where a huge padded sun bed awaits. All chain windlass and pulpit finish the bow on a well-designed deck.
