Introduction, design and overview
The Island Packet 485 luxury, bluewater cutter is Island Packet's crowning achievement to date. It is a well designed, solid, blue water cutter design, and is up to proving speedy blue water passages and comfortable to luxurious accomodations for 2-6 people. The solid one piece hull and keel are integral and very strong. The keel is IP's signature modified full keel with attached rudder, offering unparalled stability, speed and comfort at sea. The cutter rig is time proven, and ideal for blue water passages, offering large sail area, yet flexible sail options and controls. The interior is spacious, with a large salon, three private cabins and two full heads.
